Behind the scene

Exquisite smooth and soft touch, yet durable for the modern commuters

The Technical

Fine grain calf leather is created using a similar process to natural shrunken leather, using high-quality rawhides chrome-tanned to offer flexibility and durability.

The main characteristic of this article is its soft, silky, and exquiste natural finish due to its fine grain and minimal addictive process (pigments) to its surface. In order to produce such high quality article, the raw hide is the key. Only with the best raw hide can it be finished with an impeccable touch in its most natural form. This process requires the Tannery hand selects each piece of rawhide that passes its strict requirements from the finest European cattle farm. From there, the wet blue goes through the Tannery secret process of drying and finishing process. The result? Your bag will feel incredibly soft, yet retain its shape over time.
